Relationships-- with ourselves, others, and the world around us-- give shape and substance to our lives.  When those relationships are mostly healthy, we have energy and zest for life, a general sense of optimism, capacity for creativity, and the ability to experience a wide range of emotions.

When those relationships become unhealthy, though, we tend to feel exhausted, stressed, worried, scared, sad, alone, numb, broken, stuck.  Does any of that sound familiar?

I work with people to help experiences of deep pain become more bearable; to help relationships become deeper, richer, more complex, and more authentic; to help identify what you are hungering for
and set about trying to meet that, consciously and in ways that make your life better.

Who I See

I work with adults who are working through various life events and circumstances, including trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, the effects of oppression including racism, sexism, fatphobia, homophobia/biphobia, and/or transphobia; and the sorts of life transitions that are "normal" but tend to throw us for a loop anyway: marriage, divorce, career changes, births, deaths.

I am LGBTQ-affirming and my practice is informed by a strong commitment to integrating a social justice and anti-oppression understanding and approach.

In Session

It's important to me that you feel supported and cared for in therapy, so that we can create a space in which you can be open, honest, and vulnerable.  I hope you will experience me as warm, responsive, and perceptive, while also gently challenging you to perhaps think and act in some new ways.
